Standing Stags
My latest character is a Standing Stagman, based on a legend that tells of a stag that walks on two legs to protect his herd.
Tales tell of him appearing on the high moors - a fleeting visitor, or appearing at night dancing in dreams half remembered in the morning but still with you in some way.
Other stories have him accosting people on lonely country lanes, perhaps one of you is the intruder but who knows which one?
